Armistice

“The Korean War: No Victor, No Vanquished.”

- Stanley Sandler, U.S. Army Special Operations Command

Truce Talk

Even though the Korean War ended, but North Koreans still weren't satisfied with the result, which is why the two Koreas are vigilant.

“There is no strong feeling that our problems here are over, nor

that the armistice is an occasion for unrestrained rejoicing.”

- General Taylor

“A long and difficult road still lies ahead. Here are no short cuts. If we are to honor the great sacrifices

which have been made in the name of freedom, if we are to achieve peace, if we are to uphold the principles of

freedom justice and human dignity we must continue our efforts toward peace and we must be ready to defend

these principles whenever and wherever they are challenged.”

- Mark W. Clark, United Nations commander
