United States

United States (U.S.) had North Korea as their opponent, hence playing a major role in the Korean War. U.S. and North Korea have contradicting ideas, which causes further conflicts, unfortunately they still haven't figured out a solution.

“America is working with the countries of the

region—South Korea, Japan, China, and Russia—to

find a peaceful solution, and to show the North

Korean government that nuclear weapons will bring

only isolation, economic stagnation, and

continued hardship. The North Korean regime

will find respect in the world and revival for its people

only when it turns away from its nuclear

ambitions.”

- George W. Bush: State of the Union message (2003)

“We are working to achieve a Korean Peninsula free of nuclear weapons.”
- Bill Clinton: State of the Union Message (1994)

“They present to any potential attacker who would

unleash war upon the world the prospect of virtual

'The definition of "peace" of communism is to "conquer".'

“We went into Korea because we knew that Communist

aggression had to be met firmly if freedom was to be

preserved in the world. We went into the fight to save the

Republic of Korea, a free country, established under the

United Nations. These are our aims. We will not give

up until we attain them.”

- President Harry S. Truman (1952)

to play any roles to progress the peace in the

Korean peninsula. I am also considering to visit

North Korea if the situation allows.”
